I was just asking my dh this exact question, now I know and I can get my last Timmies fix when we drive in 2 weeks:cool1:

Thanks!!!!

HAM HAM there is actually one in Kentucky not off I75 so if you find yourself in Ashland Kentucky you can get a Timmies. Also a bit of useless Timmies trivia here. The Timmies in the Dayton area is the only corporate Timmies along the I75 the rest are all owned by Canadians most from the London and Niagara regon.

Yes there are 2 in the Ashland, KY area. But I didn't think the OP wanted to drive almost 400 km round trip back to I-75 for a double double and apple fritter.

I am not sure if the OP has been to the Tim Hortons in the United States, so here is something you need to know. When my Dad was in Buffalo for some meetings he went to a Tim Hortons there and when you order a coffee they always give it to you in a cup that is one size more then what you had ordered. For example if you were to order a small they give it to you in a medium cup, if you order a medium you get a large cup and if you order a larage they give you an extra large cup. So this means their locations in the United States do things different then any location across Canada when it comes to ordering coffee.

Great tip!

There was a test for a while last fall in the Branford, On area with no 8 oz coffee or tea available. I wonder if Tim Hortons is planning to discontinue the Canadian small?

Are you kidding? I would. It's a large cup of authentic Canadian crack. More Canadian than beaver tails and maple syrup.

I wouldn't doubt the poster who mentioned that US coffee cup sizes are larger than Cdn even WITHIN the Tims chain

I'm a Dunkin Donut coffee guy (DD is HUGE in the Northeast - its our coffee obsession chain - there are 7 DD outlets in a 5 miles radius of my home here in northern NJ) and I'm always disappointed when I go to Tims in Canada - (prefer DD flavor) but also because I need 2 XL cups here on my morning commute - 24 oz each - not sure how big the XL is in Canada but when I am in Canada I take note of the noticably smaller cups! :(

The same seems to go for restaurant portions!
