Does anyone know for sure.........If you book the last seating of the day for a buffet, is the food still fresh....and enough of it? We have the last time slot for Tusker House character breakfast for our trip and I'm second guessing.

I like booking the latest seating for breakfast. We are then full till dinner :thumbsup2 So far we have had no problems, food always looks fresh & hot, with plenty to go around. I have booked the latest seating as well for the Tusker House breakfast in Dec. I am really looking forward to it!

we have the late Chef Micks booked...can't wait!

THANKS! That was my thinking too. We're not big eaters and we'd be full til dinner. Glad to hear the food is still hot and fresh!

We did this for almost every breakfast last trip so we could hit the "must do" rides before breakfast. We loved it! No problems with the food or service anywhere we went!

Last year we had the the last CM's breakfast ressie and was notified through our meal that lunch would be starting soon so load up on all the bacon and eggs we could. lol Our server then informed us we didn't need to rush though because we were welcome to stay for lunch as well :)

At Chef Mickey's - only thing i found to be less than great were a few of the pastries/criossants were a little dry. But all of the hot items (eggs, etc) were delicious!

We haven't had any problems with the later breakfast seatings. It did seem that the characters spend more time with you since there are usually fewer people in the restaurant at the time.

We like to go to the first available seating, right when a place opens.

Last Dec we did a 10:30 at 1900 Park Faire and it was terrible. Just one egg station open and the line was huge, the food was hard and dried out and all the bread/pastry choices were hard.

Last month we did a 10:30 at Cape May and it was very good, everything was fresh and tasty.

I guess it is hit or miss.
