Has anyone eaten a late breakfast at Tusker house? I am wondering how dried up and gross the food will be that close to changing over to lunch LOL.

What about characters, since they are not there for lunch, will we be able to see everyone?

Anyone know what time is the last seating??

We had the last seating at, I believe it was either 10:30 or 11. This was our first ADR of our trip. It was also the longest one we waited for - almost an hour. We felt very rushed with the food because they were getting ready to change over the food. My DH wanted to go back to get some more of something and it was gone. The character interaction was good - there were very few people in there by that time and we were the last table so they made a huge fuss over Jack before being escorted out for a break. My DH loved the food there and my son loved the characters. I thought the overall experience and CS sucked.

I just looked at my ADR's it was 10:30. I asked for the last ressie when making the ADRs. Also, the food was good - I didn't think it was too crusty just rushed and not enough.

We had an 8:30 ressie- plenty early- and the food was dried out and gross and we were rushed and the service stunk. And it was loud- REALLY loud. How much worse could they get for last seating?

We had last seating January 09, group of 11. Food was fresh and plentiful for several trips through the buffet, we did not feel rushed at all.

Is this at the old restaurant or the new Tusker House buffet? Tiger :)

The last seating is definitely 10:30 as mentioned above - just called yesterday to double check.

We ate at the last seating last time, and didn't feel rushed at all. They take food away in sections, so they leave out most of everything on one side, and start filling up lunch on the other side as it got mostly close to 11:30. I would complain to the server or hostess if food is missing as they have a last seating and guarantee food will be available.

Good luck to all eating here - it's much, much better than the old restaurant!

Tiger :)

We are going to do a Tusker House breakfast on our trip, too, and I'm trying to decide between an early time (before park opening) and the latest possible time. It seems like we could be there for rope drop and get a ride or two in before our ADRs if we do the latter. My boys are teenagers and are in it for the big breakfast buffet more than the characters!

Missyma919, I was just on the TGM forums a minute ago and saw your user name :rotfl:! I am Iggy0818 over there. Happy planning!

We've had the last breakfast seating at TH. We were there during a slower time (can't remember if it was October or January.) We were not rushed, saw all the characters twice and had no complaints about the food. As a rule, we are not buffet eaters. We go to Boma and TH as they put out relatively small portions of food at a time, so it doesn't have time to get all dried up and crusty.

We were pleased with both breakfast and lunch and would go there again.

up, that's me :) Now we can hang out on both boards :cool1:

Yep! I read a lot, don't post much. But my trip is before yours, so I can at least let you know how Tusker House goes!

I can't wait to start making ADRs -- seems like the 90 day mark will never get here :sad2:
