Yeah, he's my SIL's youngest brother. I've known him since I was 11 or 12. It's kind of weird, my brother and Victors sis went to middle school together, and I went to school with Victor. It was so funny after my bro married my SIL & we saw each other again. I was hoping to have a nice weekend trying to get to know him better this past weekend, but it didn't work out! I don't see it happening now after what happened this past weekend.

I agree. If he has known you this long, he won't judge you by one thing someone else did. He should judge you for the person you are and the way you are to him.

Now, we all have family holidays together and everyone gets along. I truely believe that sometimes people cannot forget and sometimes you can't forgive....but you can accept things. That is where I am at. What my BIL did wasn't the best choice, but that is in the past and now things seem to be a lot better. I hate to say this, but maybe in the whole world of things it served a purpose with my BIL going thru counseling and everyone watching him. I treat him with love now and I never once held his actions against my sister's in-laws....they were as upset and caring as our family was.

Well we have all(Me, Mom & Sil, we're the only ones who know) deciede that he has to get help! There will be no other choice! If he doesn't then we can't help him. it's gonna be up to him, get help or lose your family!

I would be really good if he is forced to do it by a judge or someone else. Then, he would have to complete the program and it would not be you and your mom having to force him. I really hope it works out.....
