even with the PS the line was long for us

We were kept in a downstairs room where the kis got to visit with the fairy godmother while they waited for breakfast

ohh didn't think of that! I was figuring that we could ride some stuff then head over. Do you think they will let us in the MK before 9 with a 945 ADR??

I don't know about before 9 but i would head over as soon as it opens up
because say they have 15 reservations for 9:45
they are going to seat themin the order they arrive and you have to wait for the people with earlier reservations to finish eating before they send you up the stairs

I would want to be there by 9:15 at the latest
that way your DD will have time to visit with the Fairy godmother too

Just my advice someone else my have a different opinion

I'm not going to disagree with you and say take your time getting there, but I'm not sure where I read how the Disney dinning reservations goes, but it wasn't like you describe. What I read is if 15 people have 9:45 ressies, and one of them made theirs on June 1st, and another made theirs on July 1st, regardless of when they show up at the podium as long as it's before 9:45, the June 1st will be seated first. This could be true because there seems like sometimes same size parties have a lesser wait when I'm there.
