I'm pretty sure the basics are the same, but TiVo just has some nicer extras. We got our first one back in 2000... It has changed our household soooo much!

what is that??

Wishlists are where you go in and type in what you're looking for.

it can be a title, an actor, a format, a keyword, kinda like you're searching for something at the library.

then it will find everything with that specific request.

so for example. I have a wishlist for WDW & travel, auto-record. So it will record EVERY show that has WDW in the title/description that is a travel show.

I do it that way so I don't get all the episodes of when Rosanne/full house/ etc went to WDW.

alright girls, I think I'm gonna go lay in bed. I'm not feeling myself today :sad2:

I also have a wishlist for Drew Barrymore, b/c I really like her movies. I have one for Buckeyes / Sports / College Football Texas / Sports / College Football so I don't miss any games!

that sounds good!! maybe i should look into that.. I rent the dvr from comcast

TiVo's have a monthy rate also.. it's 12.95 for one TiVo, 6.95 each for more than one.. or $299 for lifetime.

We have five total!!

One of them, our first is lifetime, and we gave it to our parents. We have a 40 hour one lifetime in our bedroom, a 40 hour one on monthly in the exercise room, and an 80 DVDburner one in the living room (it is monthly). And then we have a 40 hour one in a box, not sure what we're going to do with it right now. We may put it in our ds room next year.. we'll see. So we pay almost $14 a month to have the two running.

We just have it budgeted under our cable bill. It really is the best $14 a month!! We don't have any movies channels or anything so it's an ok price for us.

night Kelly.. I apparently was already posting to myself and didn't even know it :rotfl:
