we went and bought a new grill tonight Our other one is 13 years old (well it will be in July). I'm so excited!

I love b-b-q and now dh will have a nice new grill and won't complain about how much of a pain it is to use.

Our kids are officially out for the summer!

And last night DH and I made our summer plans. (No WDW vacations though.)

In mid-June we're going to go to Nana's in PA for three days. Then at the end of June we're going to rent a boat and go out on the lake for the day for Matthew's birthday.

In mid-July we're going to Gatlinburg for five days.

And aside from that...who knows!

Wish I could stick around and chat but I've got to work in the morning. Now that school is over my boss kind of expects me to be on time.

I had a 4 day one(took tuesday off too)!! but I got a call from my work yesterday, a little boy was in a car accident on sat. and was air lifted to childrens for head injurys and he had 2 sezuires.

called the mom last night and she told me he was home now and the police was reprting her to dss because they could smell beer on her..

he will be out for the week and when he comes back we need to be super careful that he doesn't run around!!

when I think about what could have happened to this little guy it rips me apart! not to mention what I want to do to the mom!!

called the mom last night and she told me he was home now and the police was reprting her to dss because they could smell beer on her..

he will be out for the week and when he comes back we need to be super careful that he doesn't run around!!

when I think about what could have happened to this little guy it rips me apart! not to mention what I want to do to the mom!!

Well, you got your wish!

Yep, we ran into her. And his regular classroom teacher. We let his classroom teacher know that we appreciated all that she did for him. She really went above and beyond the call of duty trying to work with him to take up the slack when there wasn't an EC teacher the first half of the year. She's always been great with him and she's always believed in him!

As far as the principal ~ we reminder her of a conversation that we had right before they had an EC teacher in place. We had told her that she and the school had violated his rights by not following his IEP. We also had called the county director of EC services and had told him that as well. We had told both of them that if he didn't pass the writing test they were to blame for not providing the proper services. We let them know that we felt we had a legitimate lawsuit. They never disagreed. But there was an EC teacher in place in about a week! So today, after we reminded the principal of these past converstations, we told her that we may need to revisit the idea of a lawsuit. She had a look of shock on her face. And we left her with that thought for the summer! She was probably on the phone with the county director of services before we were out the door!

(BTW ~ I doubt we would pursue a lawsuit at this point. It's just not worth it in a small county. But it's always nice to hold that threat over them! )

Good for you! I am glad you gave them something to think about for the summer.

Yes - I read about it on the Dis yesterday right after it happened. Glad that it was just minor injuries.

I had a icky night.... T woke up throwing up around 11:30, then M woke up at 12am throwing up, then G woke up at 4am, yep, throwing up

So, needless to say, I didn't get much sleep at all! They're all in bed right now resting and I'm hoping the barfing is out of the way.

Sorry to hear that Kelly Hopefully the little guy will be fine, I would wanna smack that mom the next time I saw her!
