DH and I have come to the conclusion that we are terrible, mean parents.

We called the boys into the family room this morning for a family meeting. We explained to them that due to some stuff with DH's job we were moving. We told them that we were sorry that we had kept this news from them but we already had a buyer for the house. We told them that hopefully where we were moving we would be able to buy a house with lots of property like we have now. When they asked where we were moving to we told them Utah. Andrew sat there with tears in his eyes and Matthew just sat there with this look of disbelief on his face. Then Andrew realized and said, "Wait a minute, this is an April Fool's joke, isn't it." DH and I busted out laughing.

We are mean, aren't we!

Well we got up at the crack of dawn like normal to get DD to Sunday school by 8:00. When we were getting in the car Ashli says "Wait a minute I don't have S.S. We have the next two weeks off". This week for spring break and next week for Easter. That mean I could have spent another hour or so.

DH and I just looked at each other. And she said "I guess you should have read the newsletter". And she was right. I normally read it in Church before Mass starts.

That reminds me of what I did this week. I had to call the school and ask the secretary when Matthew's chorus trip was. She told me and then said, "the teacher sent home a note, didn't Matt bring it home?" And I had to say, yes, he brought it home, and yes I read it, and no, I have no idea what I did with it!

Yep she is in the clear. but you would have thought it would have come to her soon than getting in the car. She was tired also and wanted to stay in bed. Silly girl.
