Hi everyone!!!

I'm home from Charlotte....a very productive day!

I was the lunch lady yesterday! They called me at 9:30 asking me to sub! Then the lunch laides told me to get on the lunch lady sub-list... that they always need sub lunch ladies. I'm still thinking about that.

Why you ask??? The person in charge of hiring the lunch ladies is.............

Hi everyone.

Sorry haven't been around lately, my father had brain surgery on Tuesday, and I have been traveling back and forth from the hospital/home/mothers house. He is out of ICU today, and I went back to work (wow a one day work week!) and I thought I would pop in to see some friendly faces

Hope everyone has a good weekend if I don't get back.

He had an anurism (sp?) and they had decided (read: my mom decided) that he would have the brain surgery over the "coiling" and it was a good choice too because it was way too big (9mm) when they got in there and according to the dr it was ugly (now IMO, they are all ugly, but hey, I didn't go to medical school ) The surgery itself went very well since they had no "explosions" or anything. His recovery is on the slow side of average, his memory is somewhat intact. He remembers mom, my brother and I, just no grand kids right now, but he keeps commenting how beautiful all of them are (yes, I put a ton of pictures 8x10 printouts on his walls) He will need rehab after he gets out for a while if all goes well. So I have been taking care of my mom (who is also handicap) and doing all of my "normal" activities.

He sounds like he's very lucky, Pam. Not only to have come through the surgery so well but to have you in his life to help him through this. But remember to take care of yourself, too!

...I have to clean up too, but it isn't happening anytime soon...I stayed home again today and just got out of bed...slept about 14 hours (maybe more)! which is not like me at all. I have only another day with this yucky med...then hopefully I will be back to my normal self. At least my boss is back today, so I didn't need to cover for him. I told DH I must feel like poop, since I am not guilty about not cleaning the house, not going to work and I sent the kids to Mama's (no school today)...but right now they are having fun and in better hands with her than home with me.

Oh, and I have exciting news....my DSil is expecting!!!!! I am so excited, we get to have a little baby in the family again and I can love it and squeeze it and kiss it without all the late nights and nausia (sp?) My kids are so excited too!!!! I am going to have a hard time with DD not smothering the little thing all day long

Hi everyone-Pam glad to hear that the surgery went so well!!! Lyn Great news-love those newborns, they always smell so good!!!

Well- last load of wash is going now-shopping is done and we are almost ready to go-Oh I still have to pack and get Kyles haircut, but other than that we are almost ready to go

I hope I can sleep tonight-I feel like that Disney commercial-I'm so excited I can't sleep

I'm excited for you!!!

Morning-Well I almost got 4 hrs of sleep-but not quite!!!!!

Oldest DS got one of his jackets dirty last night-so I just threw that into the wash-just when I thought I had all the wash done

But it's drying now and we should be heading out around 10am!!!

I hope everyone has a Great Week-I'll be talking to you sometime on Friday then-unless I find free internet access somewhere(which I doubt)
