Ok, they announced today that the school will add all extra calamity days to the end of the school year.

Normally that wouldn't bother me, but we have a surprise WDW trip planned. We were going to leave right after school on the last day (a Friday). Now they say school will have to go on Monday too.

DH said, just miss the last day.... but since T is a 5th grader they do a "walk" on the last day where all the 5th graders come out and the whole school, parents, etc are outside clapping and cheering for them all. It is a tradition that the kids all look forward to... kind of like a little graduation from elementary school.

Yep-1 day to get packed and ready and one day in Clarmont Florida-were we plan on spending one night til Disney-Then Sunday We are checking in at POR!!!!

Hi e everyone. Sorry about your aunt Kayla...and hope he is well Tracy...and I am ready Kelli ...glad the new mask is better Kathy...and almost there Kim!

I probable won't be on much today...I didn't go to work . My yucky cold is much, much worse. My asthma is horrible, I have to use a nebulizer (sp?) three or four times a day...and I have a pain in my throat where I can't swallow unless I am on tylenol I felt so bad not going to work, since I am covering for my boss while he is gone...but each day I am getting worse and now I am out of breath when I walk too far or talk to long (and I can talk ) I am going to see my dr. this afternoon...hopefully he can fix me up

I'm just now catching up on reading back. By now I hope you're feeling lots better Lyn!

Thanks...he gave me antiboitics and asthma pills....so, starting to feel better...I can breathe well again, but boy, those things make me The doctor laughed when I said it will keep me up at night....but my house will be REALLY clean this time he gave me a smaller dose, so it isn't as bad as the last time I took it. I felt really guilty, but I stayed home again. but I am thinking my co-workers wouldn't want strep anyway (if that is what I have).

Glad the doctor gave you something to get you back on your feet. Hope by now you're completely over it!
