The DISboards will be down this weekend.

Over the holiday weekend we will be upgrading the boards to the latest version of the VBulletin software. This upgrade will involve major downtime for the boards. Alex will be bringing them down around 5pm on Friday and it will take 24 to 48 hours to upgrade them.

The new VBulletin has a host of exciting new features and this should really make the boards a better place for all of us.

Please be patient during this upgrade - we'll all likely suffer withdrawal symptoms and will need to find something else to do - like go shopping!

I need to make sure I have everyone's email address

I'm off work today and hope to finish up most of my Christmas stuff, since I work all day tomorrow. I'm off Christmas Eve but will have to go in Christmas Day to check the alarms and refrigeration in the store. (Gee, one of the perks of my promotion.)

Since the boards will probably be going down around 5 I wanted to take the time now to wish all of you a very merry Christmas. (Just in case the boards aren't back up before Christmas or in case we're all busy!) I hope everyone has a wonderful holiday and enjoys the company of their family! You're all a great group of friends and I feel lucky to have you all as a part of my life!
