I'm sure he can handle it! We went through all that with DD too! But we found that once we cut those strings she did fine and really started to mature.

I also broke the nurses hand and threw up on the anistiologist with that delivery


I told the little petite thing of a nurse who could weigh 100 lbs soaking wet that if they were messing with my back ( the epidural) she didn't want to be the one holding my hand

I hate people touching my back ever since I injured it int he Fire Dept

and she said oh no it will be fine

I didn't mean to but when that needle went in i squeezed and felt the bones POP

the next day she came to visit me and said She should have belived me

well really No kiddin

I wasn't about to hold anyone's hand but DH. Because the way I was feeling if I was gonna break some bones they were gonna be his!

Kathy-good to hear that Matthew's team won again

Catie's team lost this weekend and one of the girls was fouled so hard she broke her arm -I guess teh team they played hasn't lost a game in 2yrs!! they play really rough and manage to get away with it-something to be proud of,play dirty and win at any cost-whatever!!!! I'd rather my kid play fair and not injury other players just to win

What a shame! I'm with you...I'm much rather have my kids play fair! Winning isn't everything! (Sure it's nice though! )

Luckily the league that Matthew is in is pretty good. We haven't come across any of the teams that are that way. Matthew's team is undefeated so far (and they only lost one last year) but they're a good "team" and they have a very strong good sportsmanship ethic.

I copied some from the internet onto my desktop and then copied them onto the site with that feature

I finally figured out how to do that last night too! Once I did one it was so easy. So I sent him one from each of us with a Disney Character and then I sent one with a picture of Buzz Lightyear and signed it from Buzz!

and even if you don't really mean it could you pretend you are going snow hunting again this winter

it made for a low snow winter last year and they are predicting ALOT of snow this year

They're saying we're supposed to have a really harsh winter with lots of snow too. Something about fall coming early and leaves dropping early means a harsh winter!

I did talk to Liz last night around dinner-time. G was about the same as when she had posted here earlier in the day.

I feel so sorry for Liz and her DH. It's so hard when one is sick and you're still trying to keep things normal for the other kids. I wish a few of us lived a little closer and we could take turns cooking for them and keeping the kids!
