sorry, now that we are not flying this fall, I think I am going to transfer my miles to a Hilton account and use those miles for our hotel stay never did this before, so reading the fine print

That would be nice-you didn't lose anything with this cancellation so late-I thought you had to cancel 45 days in advance

Good if you didn't -especially with the bedbug situation

My Mom is leaving today for a 6 day class at the Fire Academy

she is so stressed and tired and worn out she needs

this time to get away

when she gets home they will read the will and all that stuff

I hope the time away helps her recharge

I hope the class isn't too stressful though-it could end up being too much for her to take in right now But the time away will most likely be good for her

We just goggled a map to WDW and can you believe it's only a little less than 6 1/2 hrs from here

I can't believe we live so close now Wish Hawaii wasn't so far from here too

Oh, I have to call the airlines tomorrow...I think I get vouchers and we will need to use them within a year...which shouldn't be a problem since that leaves us with next spring break and summer. The hotel and car I am going to cancel tomorrow and won't lose anything...I (thankfully) hadn't purchased any passes yet...was going to do that today.

I have a bunch of miles I was going to use next year...but now that we will have to reuse these tickets, I think I am going to use some of my miles for the hotel

It was a LONG day
and i am glad it is over but it was a beautiful day too

I was suppose to do a reading but I couldn't so one of the cousins did

DH was a Pall Bearer


after the Mass at his church

his casket was loaded on the back of a fire truck
he was a Founding memeber of the Dept here and they sent him off in style

One truck pulled across the main road to block traffic
the truck carrying DGF headedout followed by about 100 cars
then the other truck brought up the rear

at the cemetary The Priest did his thing and then the Firedept did theres

Mom and Dad were in Full dress Uniform for the whole thing
Dad as President of the Dept even took part in the Final Roll Call ceeremony

I was doing OK until that
and then when My Dad and Uncle (on Dad's side)
folded the flag and presented it to my Uncle (dgf's son)
I totally lost

I came home and slept most of the afternoon

DH was so great letting me taking care of the kids and all

It sounds beautiful. A very nice tribute for his final call of duty.

Good news on the ADRs Kim

Well, when I went to get my mail, I stopped by and told DMil we might not go...and she basically said "I don't blame you for not wanting to go!" Her friend at work's DD had bed bugs in her room (so I guess you can get them here) and they had to clean out the room and get rid of a bunch of stuff and those critters still returned. So, DH and I decided to tell the kids that we couldn't go to the hotel becuase of the bugs...when I started to say we weren't go to DL I started to lose them....you could see the puppy dog eyes and droopy lips coming on...then I told them we would go to the hotel here with the big pools and slides and DD said, "yahoo, beach party" and DS asked if he could bring his Gameboy DS So, now they couldn't care much about not going to DL and are very excited to go to the hotel here all that stress for nothing but, they are happy and this way we won't miss soccer

Oh very good. That is great that everything went well for you. Plus no airfare.
