OK-the kids will be home soon and I need to get cracking on this house-amazing what can happen to a place after I worked for 2 days

Imagine what mine looked like this weekend after 7 days of working straight! It wasn't a pretty site!

we went out to Outback for dinner tonight to celebrate the start of a school year.

We get out of the restaurant to our tornado siren is going off! The police are driving through the neighborhood saying "take cover! tornado warning!"

OMG!!

Everything is fine. It was just some wicked Lightening and Thunder. Lucky for us it seemed to be fast moving.

And now it looks like it is not going to be as bad as expected with the T.S.

Man did we get a wicked lightnening storm too-I'm sure not as bad as you had-but it last from 1am-3:30/4 non stop thunder/lightning and rain-just not as much wind!!! But I can never sleep thru that much noise-no one else has that problem here

No way-that would take a while to recover from!!! Thank goodness for 12 hour shifts and only having to work 3 days/week!!!

We had (may he RIP) a HUGE Wolf Spider here on the wall at work.

Yuck!!! We have a yucky spider right outside our front door-it just like the one that DH once walked into it's web and crawled in his hair-man did that freak me out(we were hiking) this one is less than half the size of that one for now

the bug people said oh that one is harmless!!! They don't bite!!!! OK-but I don't want it as a door ornament!!!!!

This area is supposed to get the remnants of the T.S. this weekend so it looks like a total washout for us.

We had some nasty storms here last night....still having some rain today.

That sounds exactly like what we had. The wind was blowing so hard and the rain was coming down sideways.

That sounds exactly like what we had. The wind was blowing so hard and the rain was coming down sideways.

Now we need to pray that he doesn't strength when he hit the water in the Atlantic and than enter the U.S. back in the Carolinas.

The kids wont let me get rid of it-one zap of Raid should do it-but they like it!!! Ughhh we really need to get a real pet!!!!

They are fine. We have 6 major Oak trees and one maple that are on our property. One VERY close to our house. Matter of fact most of the branches cover our roof. So I hate strong winds.
