You've been last way too long this morning Kayla. Time for someone else to take a crack at last place....and I'm volunteering to do that!

Hey everyone - "slo" from the Fireman's Wives thread said to say hi to all of you!

She asked how our move went and I told her it went fine and that we were all unpacked and getting settled in!

I worked till 2 yesterday
and than went and stayed with my Grandfather so that
Mom and Dad could go out with some friends

it is so hard
he kept asking me what i did with his wife

I thought he was confused and meant his DD so i told him my Mom would be back later

no he meant his wife
she died in 2000 she was my best friend

i don't know if he forgot or what

than he wanted to talk about when he was in Europe in WW 1

it was a long night

I don't know how my mom does it everyday

I know how hard it is Kayla! He's lucky to have you and your mom to be there for him!

Just a quick update-I've had a terrible couple days setting into this new life-and it's mostly due to the new job and the fact that they need all this paperwork and on-line tests and a doctor exam and proof of this and that -that has driven me over the edge -I sat in the car just crying all the way to our new house saying I just can't get this done!!! See-they gave me all this to do one day before our BIG Move!!! I didn't even open it cause we were so busy-and now they are hounding me for everything-SO I found a place to FAX things-got our computer hooked up to take my on-line tests-but still haven't found a Doctor who can get all the medical requirements done

needless to say-I took Saturday off and unpacked and tryed to unwind-so I feel better today-I truely hope everyone here is having a good weekend-and I'm looking forward to chatting with all of you soon!!!

Sorry you're going through all this additional stress, Kim. Hopefully it will all be over soon and you'll get started on settling into your new life in GA!

I hope so! In the original forecast it was supposed have been a tropical depression by today...not a Cat 4
