Kelli, I am so glad you all had fun....you deserved a break. I know how it is with them not wanting to wash it off....that equals mommy washing the bedding

I am starting to get the vacation itch again.....

who knows....the kids love WDW and DS wants to go back to AKL and DD wants SSR...DH and I like CSR....

Our options for October break (1 week) are:
Stay home and go camping
Go to DL (which is a much easier flight for us and we could see everything in a week....maybe go to Legoland again)
Go to WDW if the weather is okay, airfares are decent and we want to brave that loooongggg flight again

For March (kids have 2 weeks off)
I looked at going to the Big Island or Arizona for 10 days...ironically it would cost us the same amount...DH thinks kids are too young for a nature trip...so then we were thinking either buying APs for DL in October (if we go then) and go back in March or go our to Colorado in March to visit my friend in Denver and maybe spend a night or two in the Rocky Mountains.
or stay home ...we probable won't go anywhere during the summer because of the heat....

now that the DH's job is looking less likely, I think I will be in a better position to use my vacation days....I was worried about needing to take off more with him gone more.

Hey I just wanted to share something.

You know how there is a teen version of our LTP thread well I just noticed there is another one on VMK boards.

Wow. You have a bunch of options. So that is good.

DD keeps talking about what a long flight her friends Hope and Hunter have just to come to WDW. She said that to a lady the other day while waiting in line. You know how people always ask where are you from. Well DD always pipes up with we live close but her friends have a long flight just to come here.

I know....that flight is just so long....my kids are great about it...I think I am the only one that is tired from it and DH gets a little jet lag at times...

Wouldn't it be so funny if once your DD told the person CSR

Yep - Just like here. You kinda get used to it.

The people in the North get used to shoveling snow and the freezing winds. We get used to the blistering heat.

I need to find somewhere that is about 73 all year long!!!
