Hi!

I thought I was never going to get on here! Our cable and our internet service has been out since about 2 a.m. and just came back on!!!! Serious wethdrawals going on here!

Today there is a bike race in the area called Blood, Sweat and Gears. The fire department is open as an aid station and I went down this morning for a while. Can you imagine riding a bike through these mountainous roads??? It's a treacherous ride. There was a wreck about a mile from our house! Last year there was a wreck about a half a mile above our house and three or four years ago a bike rider died from injuries he got in a wreck at the bottom of our road!!

Tonight is our annual fire department picnic. I'm taking care of the food! So I really should get moving. I cheated, though. I ordered most of it from the store and just have to go pick it up and then do the hamburgers and hot dogs on the grill. Last year we had it catered and it was terrible! So I suggested they let me take care of it this year. I had to convince the chief to let me do it 'cause his theory is we all should get to sit and enjoy ourselves. He did like the idea that I could do it for about a fourth of the cost of last years! So, he gave in. I hope it goes well and I hope there's enough food!

BTW - We're leaving at 4 a.m for PA and we won't be back until late Wednesday. So, if the internet goes down again and I can't get on tonight don't worry if you don't hear from me for a few days!!!

8 Days Until Pop Century Woot Woot! LAST!

Hi Girls Just a quick post-the inspection didn't go as well as hoped

we had to fix 3 things right away and that added big bucks to the inspection cost-still under 500 but just barely-and today our water test came back and I was awoken to some bad news-guess our well is contaminated and we've been drinking it like that for only God knows how long!!!!

So we have to Bleach the well and on Monday they are going to come out and re-bleach it with better stuff-then they retest it and hopefully it will be OK then!!!

just upsets me right now that I have been putting our health in jeapordy for a long time!!!!

so I hope you all are having a better weekend-I have plenty more to say-so I'll pop back on later-more in regards to Our oldest DS in Colorado and the fact that he's moving back soon-it's a long story so I'll talk more later!!!

we are off to my company picnic at the Milwaukee Zoo so I'll see you all later
