i asked my mom how she carried a million things at the store and she said that she had to deal with holding my hand when i was little and holding my sis and holding all the stuff from the grocery...

Actually just waiting for the dryer to buzz right now. My dryer is real slow, so I'm doing one load and hanging it outside since it's so pretty out today and then doing another load and putting it in the dryer. But the computer just kinda sucks me in whenever I walk by!!

I used to have three boys all in diapers at the same time. Hand holding was an adventure! I can still remember whenever we'd go to the grocery store and I'd have to keep all my "ducks in a row!"

I just tried that recipe for Red Lobster shrimp scampi. If I posted the link to the recipe before just toss it! It's lousy! The recipe that I use (that I've just sort of made up) is much better than that one!

Hi everyone!

Hi Kim! Did you sleep well today????

I've got the lasagna in the oven and will take it over to my friend's house in about half an hour. She lives over in TN so it'll take about 30 - 40 minutes to get there. Shadow's gonna go with me and get some fresh air (hanging his head out the window at 50 mph - the perfect furry human's life!!)

I just posted on another thread - "How do you make REAL lemonade?"

(Yes, I know I swore I wasn't gonna venture off LTP again but this one looked harmless!)

Anyway, I thought I would share here what I posted.



When I was engaged my DH mentioned that he would love some "real" lemonade! Wanting him to know how wonderful my domestic skills were I ran straight over to our neighbors house and asked if I could pick some lemons from their tree. You can't get any fresher than that I figured. I ran home, squeezed all the lemons, added water and put it in a fancy pitcher.

I still lived at home at the time so I called DH and my mom both out to the kitchen and gave them each a nice glass of fresh lemonade over ice. They both took a big drink at the same time. You should have seen their faces!!! Oooops, no one said I was supposed to add sugar!!!

DH still married me and we've been together for 23 years!

And my mom gave me a magnet for the refrigerator at my bridal shower - "Recipe for boiling water!" Need I say more!

Got back from work, got changed and headed to the pool!

I couldn't sleep last night, so I only got about 4 hours total.... I am going to CrAsH tonight!

Bet the pool was warm today! Boy, lack of sleeping along with swimming and you should crash tonight!!

BTW - I'm back from my little drive over to TN. My friend is having a hard time. She had a hysterectomy Tuesday and is not bouncing back well at all. I feel guilty 'cause I told her she should be up and running by the weekend.

Our pool is still on the cold side-only around 75-since it really heasn't been to warm here til these past two days

and No I didn't get to sleep well-but I did get about 3 hrs-now I'm feeling a bit tired

Sorry you didn't get much sleep Kim! Just remember that saying..."sleep is overrated!" Oh, wait a minute, you're the one that came up with that saying aren't you.
