Good morning everyone.

Kathy - Congratulations on the test results.

I hate conivincing people that you are ready/capable of having/doing something. It's always they want a second opinion. Well, i'm not trying to be a smart mouth but WHY would you need someone elses opinion when they could have a totally different taste in something?

Morning Kelli

I've got some clothes in the wash that need to HURRY UP!!!! :rotfl: I'm ready to get outta here!

You're all older than me right? How can your kids convince you to let them buy something?

I don't have any kids, but if my little sister wants something she has to prove to me that she is able to be responsible for whatever she wants. OR it get's taken away the 1st time she proves to me that she's not

All I want is a PSP. My dad and brother arn't home...i'm never good at swaying my parents to let me get something. Though, I did convince them to let me go to a party but this is $279.00 more.

HAVE A GREAT DAY!!!! :bounce:
Thanks!! I just hope it stops raining!!! :furious: but the show will go on rain or shine! but I had to borrow a camera from my moms BFF and I don't want it to mess up!

Mel why don't you try to earn the money for it. WHen my sister wants something expensive (like a PSP, which she does want) she earns the money herself, we don't just buy it for her. It shows her she has to work for the things she wants and things aren't just going to be handed to her. Maybe if they see you are working hard for something they will give in alittle

she's already earned about half the money :thumbsup2 and it makes her take better care of her things, b/c she had to earn it herself

Ok I better go get ready, we're gonna be leaving soon! See ya all when I get home tonight  :woohoo:

Together: All of us girls stand strong

Alone they might be washed away, but together they stand strong.

Thank you each for holding my hand somewhere along the way when I was facing a wave of my own. I hope you will reach for my hand when your own wave threatens.

All of us girls..

Old and young...
Near and far...
Hold special memories of good times we've shared.
We've had our share of hard times when our friends were there to
make us feel better.

We've shared...
our hearts
our time
our secrets
our fears
our hopes
and our dreams.

Let us never break the chain of friends!

I have the money. It's just my mom is ignoring me and singing whenever I talk. I DON'T want to convince everyone.

I used to have to earn part of my stuff too. Now, I am married and have a DS that is 17months old. He is going to have to earn most of what he wants too. I say that now, when he gets old enough to want things we'll have to see how I am.

Just passing by the computer and it was calling my name! :lmao:

Tracy - Have fun and be careful today!

Mel - That's A LOT of money, even if it is your money. If it were one of my boys wanting to spend that much we'd be having some long discussions beforehand. I don't know what you can do to get your mom to talk to you about it. Have you already talked to her before about it???

Well, now back to my regularly scheduled activities! :laundy:

Yes, but I have to wait until my brother gets back from football. I am 15 and I do well in school WAY BETTER THAN MY BROTHER

Talk to them when your brother gets back from football then. I know it's hard to wait but showing patience will also show them you're maturity!! Then talk to them calmly about it. Plan what you're going to say in advance, even make yourself some notes if you need to. That way they'll see that you're serious about it and have really put some thought into it.
