I have to work again all day today, but I promised the kids I would take them swimming from 12-130 (have to be at work at 2).

Right now I'm doing chores, laundry, dishes, etc.... boy whenever I work long hours on the weekends the house gets to be a mess! Why is that???

Happy Memorial Day everyone. Just got back from the cemetary. getting ready to go to my parents house. Hope everyone had a good weekend.

I think this is the first memorial day weekend that we didn't have rain in about 6 years!!!

I've had a fun morning. I was only scheduled until 11 because A.J. had an exam and had to be picked up after it. His teacher's aid called this morning to say that he should be done by 9:45 and she wanted to know if I could pick him up earlier than 11. So, I dropped him off at school at 8:15, went to work at 8:30, left work at 9:40, went to school and picked him up and went back to work. Luckily my boss is very understanding. So A.J. got to hang out with me at work but I ended up working until 12 instead of 1 since we were a little busy. A.J. was great and it only cost me a soda, a bag of chips, a package of crackers and a donut! He knows he always gets goodies if he goes to work with me!

Matthew's class is having a family picnic tonight at 6. Matthew's teacher thinks it is a Memorial Day/end-of-year picnic but it's actually a going away picnic for her. She has filled in for the second semester since the regular classroom teacher's been out on maternity leave and they all really like her.
