It isn't easyMom2Ashli said:How can one person have to much stuff to pack. When we go to WDW is just means one more trip to the car. But this flying is for the birds. I need stuff for the plane to keep the two of them busy.
LYN - HOW IN THE WORLD DO YOU DO IT?????
that is why I probable get an upset stomach before our long trips...I always pack an extra set of clothes, medicine, coloring books/magentic books for take-off and landings (can't have the computer and electronic games on), laptop and movies, water and snacks/food in case of delay and/or hunger, etc.....it is tiring. Fortunately, my kids are so good at flying...they should be. DS has been to California once at 7 months old, then since we had DD they have been to California 3 times and Florida twice. It has been getting easier as they get older. I am taking a break....I am a little tired of the flying...but DS keeps asking how many days until we go back. He must have asked me about a dozen times since we have been home
I cancelled my trip in October this morning. If May was this hot, I can't imagine how it would be in late September/early October.Goodluck with thatMom2Ashli said:Nope DH is not going with. So I am making a rule. Whatever you bring you carry.![]()
Well I think I am going to go and see about pulling some more stuff together. I will see you later.
but she just e-mailed me that there is a typhoon heading here way
this just sucks....I hope she is okay. She said that the people around don't seem worried...WTH?
we're already losing 8 to nothing and it's only the top of the 3rd

Some of the things I do....pack an extra set of clothes and toothbrushes in your carry-on, in case of a spill/accident or lost luggage. You may not have as much stuff, but I try to pack on suitcase really tight with all the stuff we probable won't need, but need to have (like medicine) and put that overhead if need be. Then, I have one small rectangle suitcase that I place snacks, toys, games, etc. that we would want on the plane, under the seat so it is easy to get to. Then I have my purse and DH has his computer bag. You would be amazed with what I can fit in those two bags...which includes a blanket and pillow for each kid. I pack carefully and compressed since at times one or both kids fall asleep and we need to carry them and our stuff off the plane to the gate where the strollers are. I always take the strollers since we have connections inbetween and it is easier to transport the kids. I also try to pack tight going over, but I pack an extra duffle in the suitcase or I nest suitcases. That way, when I pack to come home, I carefully pack the clean clothes and purchases in our luggage and throw the dirty clothes (in a plastic bag), toiletries and anything else laying around gets thrown in too.
OT- my coworker/friend went to Asia the same time I went to Florida....so it has been busy today and she doesn't come back for a weekbut she just e-mailed me that there is a typhoon heading here way
