Has your brother always been friendly with your Dad?

not really. He was 5 when they got divorced so he was closer to him than I am ( I don't think I was even a year old when it was finalized) but when him and my sil got married she really pushed for him to get in contact with Mike. & when she had my nephew she took it upon herself to call Mike and have him come over. My brother was MAD!!!! But they've gotten a little closer, and now mike is always bugging them and poping in. My sil wishes she had never done it, but it's too late now. We told her to leave it alone, but she didn't listen

That sounds fun!! We're supposed to go to my cousins b-day party tomorrow, which I know won't be a party, we'll just sit around, eat, then come home. I think I'd rather clean out my closet. BUT I feel bad b/c she's one of my favorite cousins so I'll probably end up going

when they 1st got married she was really good for my brother, she helped him out ALOT and he made alot of changes for the better b/c of her, but now I have to wonder why they're still together. She drives me up the wall! I can only imagine what living with her has to be like

There is just so many of them. And it is not organized right now and that drives me crazy. So far all I know is we are going to show up at a park with raw meat with hopes of finding a spot with a grill to cook.

That is how they do things all the time. And it is okay for the kids to run wild. I think I am the only one that stays right where I can see DD. I don't trust playgrounds.

I like to have a plan in place.

- That is them. We went to Sams tonight. DH was picking up two huge packages of hamburger meat, sauage, and a pork loin. I said I really think one package of hamburger meat will do it.

they are bringing chicken and hot dogs on top of everything else we have. And we don't even know if we will get a grill.

No - But I did find out that it is NOT just for her school. It is COUNTY WIDE and will be held at a big Theater.

Yeah me too.

And with it being so big I don't have a good feeling about her making it.

But that's okay. she will try again next year and I am so proud of her for just trying-out for it.

Yep. But I am trying to make sure I cover my bases with her. I don't want her heart to be broken. So I am not making a big deal about it.

smart move!! It drives me crazy when parents tell there kids "Don't worry I KNOW you'll make it!!" and then when the kid doesn't they are so dissapointed
