she decided to sing Breaking Free from the High School Musical. She is singing both the boy and girl parts.

Oh well her choice and I wished her the best. And told her no matter what happens know in her heart she gave it the best she could.

I think the children can sign up with they want. And than only so many go to the BIG SHOW. So I want to say no Not everyone that trys out goes on.

But honestly I am not 100% sure. Because I told DD that we didn't have the time for it this year and that we could do it next year and plan ahead to do it.

But she came home and told me she signed up anyways. So I was kinda blindsided by this whole thing.
