we're still trying to figure out which week to go in Dec, now that the kids are in ps.

I need to figure out when they have tests.. the first week of Dec or the 2nd?? I was thinking maybe the 2nd week, right before winter break, would be mostly "play" time....no teacher wants to grade tests over Christmas right

That's right about when we took the kids out of school-they missed 8days each and didn't suffer too much-I gave the teachers a written request for any homework and when we got home from vacation they still had 5 days of X-mas break to complete it-worked out great-I was wondering about how you were going to handle the annual x-mas break!!!

we chose to send DS to a private catholic school this year and had him repeat 6th grade,he's doing soooo much better there-just got a nearly A average last report card!!!!

I just thought for some reason that the middle schools in your area were in a different system.

That is so awesome for him!! It's hard to decide to hold/repeat them but sometimes it's the best thing for them.

As for testing Liz i don't think either girl had many test at all
between thanksgiving and Christmas
nothing major i remember anyway
