Thanks for asking :goodvibes DS is fine and I think my Mom is o.k. Yesterday I checked in on her in the morning and DH ckecked in on her twice during the day (he works nearby to where we all live) and she was o.k. I tried calling twice this morning and no answer, so I left a message....hopefully she is just resting. I think DH was going to check in on her on his lunch again today. She is just really weak, I think from not eating too much and not being able to digest much of what she eats....but she did enjoy my Mr. Turkey soup :thumbsup2 :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Glad DS is doing better, glad she is doing better, and there is NEVER enough Mr. Turkey Soup!!!! You too have a good DH for stopping by and checking on her. :thumbsup2

I found out tonigth that she has bigger problems than we origianlly thought.

VERY SAD!!
well, than the best thing for him is to be away from her at this time...if you don't mind my asking, if your Brother married to her? I bet it is difficult for him to be in this situation too :grouphug:

Yes a trainable DH is important!!! :rotfl2: My DH won't admit he likes to go, but is always asking when we are going again!!!!

funny how men work and they start to appreciate things AFTER something happens!!!
yep...the sad part for our friends is that it may be too late...but, they are both great people, so if it doesn't work out hopefully they will find partners they are compatible with :wizard:

well, I am caught up....

Its rainy here, even had hail earlier. :umbrella:

How old is your nephew again??

Right now he's is enjoying his "vacation" if he's little enough he might not know the difference right now which in a way is good, if he is older he might blame himself for his mothers problems.

Yeah me too. He is a cute kid and I can't believe she is not Motherly. Right now I have a ton of choice words that I could use in reference to her. But I am sure I would end up banned or something.

She hasn't learned anything.

well, sorry to leave so soon, but gotta go rest some more. Spring break is next week and I want to be healthy!!!

have a good night all

Lyn, hope you mom continues to improve and that DS is back in action soon

Kelli, hope your nephew continues to enjoy his stay, and that your DD will just settle with playing with your nephew!!!

night all :wave2:

He is 4 he will be 5 in July. It is amazing to hear her older DD talk about her. She doesn't have very many good things to say about how good a Mother she was when she was growing up.

Honestly I would probably keep him forever but my Brother really LOVES his Son and tries to be Father and Mother.

It really is bothering my Brother when he call and DN doesn't want to talk on the phone for a long time because he is busy having fun.

We try and tell my brother that is better than him crying on the phone that he misses him and wants to come home. Because that would break my brother heart to know that he can just pick him up and take him home.

{hugs} well, like (I think Pam) said before, you need lisence to drive, but no test to have a child. I remember when I took DS home and I thought, wow, they just let you take the baby home...and at the dog pound (at least here) they have to inspect your home before you can get a dog....

keep us updated on how he is...hopefully this will be just a fun vacation for him...

time to go, talk to everyone later :wave2:

Not sure what he wants. He really can't afford to move back now. He works construction and never gave it a thought that you can't work construction in the snow. Sometimes I wonder what he is thinking if he is even thinking at all.

They moved to Maine fromt he beginning to let SIL get some help. But that only lasted less than a year.
