We are back from the dentist. A.J. did so well!!!! I can remember the days when it took three of us to hold him down!

He has a loose front tooth on the bottom so the dentist is going to check with the orthodontist to find out his opinion about securing the tooth in place. Because of his Down Syndrome his teeth are misshapen and have short roots so it wouldn't take a while lot for the tooth to fall out.

He also has a small cavity in each of his permanent molars. His first cavities! So the dentist recommended that she do the fillings in the hospital under anesthesia. So since we're going that route she's going to coordinate to have two of his wisdom teeth pulled and one "odd" molar. (He has an extra.) So it looks like we're looking at out-patient "surgery" in June. I'm sure he'll do fine but I'm not looking forward to any of it!

That sounds like a lot to have done at one time. But I guess if he is going to be out you might as well.

That's the doctor's opinion. If he's gonna be out she might as well take advantage of the time to do as much as possible.

DH just called and they've arrived at Space Camp and they're all unloaded. It was worse than getting a call from an unhappy kid that's away! He said he hates it so far! He said he couldn't go into details but that all he hoped was that it would get better 'cause right now all he wanted to do was come home...and divorce his wife (since I got him into it)! Gee, I sure hope he was kidding about that part!

I knew it wasn't a good sign this morning when he and Matthew went onto the bus to put thier stuff on their seats and he came back off to tell me he had recently arrested one of the mom's that was on the bus!!!

PROUD SISTER HERE!! I just picked up andie early b/c today is report card day and she made the Honor Roll!! I'm so proud of her! She had been struggling since the beginning of the year and she's made a complete turn around

Yikes - I really need to start doing something other than sit on my big rump.

I really don't like the number the scale is telling me anymore.

And I need to be in shape for the 3-day.

So starting now I am going to try and eat better. Less junk, soda and sugar.

I would love to drop some lbs.
