I have been trying to post again since the last time I posted.... guess I don't have to worry about the 40 second rule today.

Matthew's excited but DH is getting a little nervous. He's never chaperoned a trip like this before!

I was just thinking....your DH can brave fire-arms and house fires...but teenage (or pre-teen) boys make him nervous SMART MAN!!!!!!!!!!!!! I would be scared

What do they get to do?

They leave tomorrow morning at 5:30 on a chartered bus and should arrive in Huntsville around 12:30. By 2:00 they'll be starting the program. They get to go to museums, do simulators, see shuttle stuff. They do the program all day Thursday. Then on Friday morning they organize with other schools into teams to put into use what they've learned. They'll all get t-shirts and the winning team will get a certificate. They leave Huntsville around 11:00 a.m. Friday and go to the Aquarium in Chattanooga. Then they'll leave around 4:00 and should be home by 11:00.

Andrew did this trip two years ago and loved it! Our school combines with one other school since we're so small. It's for the kids in the academically gifted program.

They stay in dorms and DH will have Matthew and two other boys in the room. Then during the day they are in groups/teams and there are three teams between the two schools.
