Normally if they just Puke once and are feeling better I send them even though the handbook here says if they puke or have diareha within the last 24 hours you need to keep them home

that just doesn't always make sense
so we do a case by case

if they are up puking at 4 or 5 am I normally keep them home cause there isn't really enough time to see if it is really over before school starts and i would hate for them to get sick in school

Well B puked around 12 I think (I was asleep, dh took care of him) but M just puked at 3. She instantly felt better and asked "Am I going to school in the morning?" I couldn't tell if she was asking b/c she wanted to, or if she didn't :confused3

My poor kiddos, they've never had to worry about this. We could take off whatever we wanted, their teacher was so nice :lmao:

I was afraid too. It was dh's idea he insisted that I get it.

It cost ~1000 I think.

Right before the surgery they do a little interview to make sure you're ready, and then a RN gives you a little pill to relax you... It was the only time in my life that I have had any type of "drug" and it was soooo weird!

After about a minute I felt so relaxed and cool.. I felt like I should say "Hey man, how's it going?? :hippie: "

There was no pain during the surgery, but it was WEIRD!! Afterwards they tell you it will hurt... but it hurt SOOOO bad to even open my eyes!! I cried and cried... but that only lasted for a couple of hours. The next day I was fine and it is a life changing experience!

I was expecting the cost to be alot more than that
Maybe I will look into it

I have worn galsses since the late 70's and would love to be able to do without them

so it was worth the pain???

looks like our bed must be full of kiddos, dh just came down to sleep on the couch :earboy2: He goes, "you're up??"

yes, yes, yes, yes, YES!!

It wouldn't have been to bad for me if I knew that it was coming. They said that it would hurt for a couple of hours... but they didn't say anything about the REAL pain!

I just took some advil and stayed in bed with the lights off and the covers over my head for a couple of hours. By that evening I was able to read the alarm clock! I was so excited!!!

did you know that the video recording machine was invented in 1956? The first one was 3 feet 3in high and weighed 1,466 pounds!!

did you know that in 1899 the director of the US Patent Office told President McKinley that everything that can be invented already has?
