Hi All

Just stopping bye to say hello

we are still dealing with Jessica's illness

she really is no better and the Dr's are not being aggressive

so tomorrow we have another appointment with the PED neuro

He HAS to do something

the kid is in so much pain

and still out of school.

Anyway hope you all are doing well

I hope to be around more soon.

I miss everyone:guilty:

Hi Kayla!

I'm sorry that Jess hasn't seen some improvement by now. She's going through so much! :grouphug:

I hope the Pediatric neuro will do some good.

Stop by when you have time and keep us updated.

She has seen this neuro before in the hospital

I am hoping when he sees her Monday he will understand and see

she is NOT making progress and start a more aggresive treatment.

I hope so too.

I am waiting for an appointment with my neuro also. Seems like it takes forever to be seen, even if you're already a patient. I go on the 27th. You may remember that I had to go this past winter because my toes are numb and tingling (and for all the sleep apnea testing). My toes have been that way for almost three years now. That's when I went through the EMGs and how I knew what they were. Anyway, in July my thumbs and index fingers started doing the same thing as my toes. And now I'm getting shooting pains in my right hand - the only thing I can compare the pain to is sticking your finger in an electric socket. I'm in pretty constant pain with my hands. - I also have a place on my left knee that started out about six weeks ago feeling like I had a bruise, but I hadn't done anything to it. Now if I kneel on that particular part of my knee the pain is excruciating. But if I'm not kneeling on it then it's numb feeling! :confused3

Sorry to have dumped on you when you're here to talk about Jess but I've been hurting a lot today and just really needed to "talk" about it.

Don't apologize

trust me it is nice to talk to someone else about something else for a change :)

It sounds like what your going thru is no fun at all
your knee sounds strange I hope on the 27th they can help.......:wizard:

as for getting appointments That is so frustrating that it takes so long:mad:

Well Kathy

sorry we couldn't have had more time to talk

but even with the time change 1 AM comes early

I hope you feel better soon :wizard:

sorry I wasn't much help tonight:guilty:

I hope he can help but I'm sure the 27th will just be the beginning of more waiting. I'll probably have to go back for an EMG and have to wait for an appointment for that. I just hope he can figure it out because it's not only painful but it's starting to interfere with stuff too. I find that I'm dropping things a lot more and it's hard to turn pages because I can't feel if there's one or more pages. But luckily, for some reason, I can still count money and it has interfered with that part of my work.

Sorry you can't stick around longer.

Why are you getting up at 1 A.M.?

Hope to see you around here again soon!

I love this time change! I got up extra early and I'm getting so much done! Of course, I'll be useless by about 5:30 :lmao: but at least I'm moving early this morning!
