Last night was senior night at the football game and the senior football players and cheerleaders were recognized. A.J. was recognized, too, even though he's not a football player and only the water boy he was still called out as a part of the team. DH and I escorted him onto the field. I was holding back tears when we started out onto the field and all the cheerleaders and the crowd started yelling out his name and clapping! They didn't even do that for some of the players! He was so nervous but once he heard them yelling his name he started smiling and waving to the crowd!
The team won last night, even though we were considered the underdogs, and we will be in the conference finals now. This is the first time in 26 years that we've won this conference game!

...I can relate...last week was the last home game for our Jr. Rams..we had Homecoming Day - all the 8th graders on our Senior squad (football players and cheerleaders) walked with their parents through a balloon archway at one end of the field and the moms received a rose....
...now, tonight is my DS's last game as a Lodi Jr. Ram.....

...my BD's operation was cancelled yet AGAIN and pushed back to Tuesday....he seems to think they are going to remove some of his leg....

...I can relate...last week was the last home game for our Jr. Rams..we had Homecoming Day - all the 8th graders on our Senior squad (football players and cheerleaders) walked with their parents through a balloon archway at one end of the field and the moms received a rose....
Yep, yep, you can relate! It's tough...and emotional!
Oh, I did forget to mention (and you reminded me of it

Oh and another thing I forgot to mention about last night....I ran over my cell phone! 
DH was going to meet us at the game so on the way out the door I grabbed his heavy jacket (it went down to 35 last night) and I went out to the van. I opened the back door and put his jacket on the seat and then we left. Halfway there I realized I didn't have my cell phone but I could've sworn I had it when I walked out the door. DH and Andrew left the game right after the kickoff and came home. (Neither of them like to sit through games!) They were supposed to look for my cell phone. After the game I stopped at work and used the phone to call home and asked if they had found it. Nope!
Well, after I got home I started looking. I went out to where the van is parked and found it on the ground. It was next to where the van had been parked when we left, right where the back door of the van was so I must've dropped it when I threw DH's jacket in the back. From where it was I think I ran over it when I came home, not when I left. I asked DH and Andrew if they had thought to look outside for it....uh, no!
And naturally we have the insurance on Andrew and DH's cell phones...but not mine!

I have SOOOOOOOOO much to do around the house and I just don't feel like doing anything!

Just stopping bye to say hello
we are still dealing with Jessica's illness
she really is no better and the Dr's are not being aggressive
so tomorrow we have another appointment with the PED neuro
He HAS to do something
the kid is in so much pain
and still out of school.
Anyway hope you all are doing well
I hope to be around more soon.
I miss everyone
