Today is DH's birthday so I got up early and made a cake. The boys are going to put the frosting on and decorate it later!

aawwww!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY A!!!!

DD called yesterday and she sounded very happy and very upbeat for the first time in a long time. She got another job yesterday as a waitress. I hope it works out for her and that she can start digging herself out of the hole she's in!

Good evening everyone. Thought I'd pop on here for a chance at being last before I fix dinner...a super salad, ribeyes, baked potatoes, mac & cheese (yes, I know, two starches in one meal but that's what DH wanted for his bd dinner ), sauteed mushrooms, crabmeat, and for dessert - spice cake and french vanilla ice cream.

Good Morning Everyone.

All is well here in the midwest, the cicadas are still floating around. I am adjusting well to my new diet and stress reducing activities.

Good luck with the diet and stress reducing. I've had to go through all that for my blood pressure too.

It was.

But for the past week or so I've been feeling sick in the middle of dinner! Tonight was the same. So I'll be packing leftovers for lunch tomorrow!

It's about time for cake and ice cream...and presents!
