What happened? How old was she? Or would you rather not talk about it?

Well, she went into the hospital on Tuesday evening, and it just went downhill fast. She passed on Saturday morning and it's been tough. Luckily we had stopped at their house earlier Tuesday just to say hi.

I think she knew that something was happening though because the food she made was always great. And just a couple of weeks earlier, had made 2 awful desserts.

And she was 79, very very young for her family. Her aunt was 103 when she died. And another aunt was acutally at the funeral at 98 years old. So it was unexpected.

That always makes it harder when it is so unexpected. 79 is young. My Grandmother is 92 and only quit working last year. she said it kept her young.

Yea. It's been kinda rough around here. But my family put the "fun" in "disfunctional" so it makes it easier.

Just to let you guys know, my grandmother passed away rather unexpectedly.

I am so sorry.
