you can go dowtown, it's really nice now that they've redone everthing! lots of cool rest. and clubs & bars and stuff. but I wouldn't walk by the hugh bayou, that's where they always get found!!

I would love to visit that area. I have only been through the "top" of Texas when we drove from AZ home. and It was snowing when we went through!!!

maybe another destination for us..... I'll have to think of a way to make DH think he thought of it.......

Thanks!! I am getting ready to drive down to their house. (the hospital is three blocks from there)

(we both live in the same city, but it takes about an hour to get to each others place I'm a northsider and hes a south sider!!!)

Yeah it takes us atleast 1/2 an hour to 45 min to get to my brothers house. but he doesn't live as far as they used too!

I've never been to north Tx. When ever we travel in TX we always go south b/c we can hit South Padre Island
