We're having a VERY romantic dinner...DH is in town and is bringing home pizza!!!!

He wanted to take me out to dinner but I don't want to mess with the crowds. Besides, I woke up with a cold sore the size of a cantaloupe that would even look large on Godzilla and I don't really feel like going out in public! Wait 'til DH gets there to pick up the pizza and finds that I ordered 4!!!! (I'm hungry!)

You don't have to cook and won't have many dishes to clean....I would take that as romantic I sometimes tell my DH that nothing is more attactive than a man cleaning a toilet

Well....when we went one day to MK...I did get questioned. I had in my bag Ipecac (SP?) which is that thing you give someone if they swallow a poison (yes...I am paranoid and over pack) and sercurity questioned me for bringing in this little bottle of stuff. Of course, on the bottle I had a huge green sticker with the Hawaii phone # for the poison control center...so he believed me that it was just something in case my kids needed it

OK-I double checked and yes the Academy of Pediatrics suggests all parents to get rid of syrup of ipecea entirely-it's been proven NOT to be helpful and can even be dangerous(dehydation-delay of treatment) So Lyn check with your pediatrician-but I know our hospital has banned the stuff-it's more harmful than helpful

We are staying at the same Hotel

They only do the security checks at the parks...not the hotels!

We finished our dinner (mmmmmm...Papa John's pizza with garlic dipping sauce. It was soooo good.)

And DH and the boys thoroughly spoiled me. They got me a rose and a box of candy. And I got an itty-bitty teddy bear from A.J., a stuffed dog from Andrew and a bear candle from Matthew!!

And Matthew and Andrew made me cards all on their own. They made them yesterday when I was at work and just used what they could find on their own. They asked DH for glue and he didn't know where it was so they were resourceful...the used some squeeze watermelon candy and squeezed it out to use it like glue and it dried by today!!! Matthew decorated his with candy hearts. Andrew decorated his with chocolate hearts and he made a big heart on the front out of plastic b.b.'s that they have for the air powered guns they just got. I have to share with you what Andrew wrote:

"Any kid could go out on Valentine's Day and buy their mom a bunch of flowers or a box of chocolates. But you're not a typical mom. You're a special kind of mom. You're a mom that would cancel your plans for your children. You're the kind of mom that would always check up on me if I were sick. And you know what? You're my kind of Mom!! Happy Valentine's Day!"

Isn't that so sweet!!!
