Hmmm. This sounds like it's being spoken from experience!

Well....when we went one day to MK...I did get questioned. I had in my bag Ipecac (SP?) which is that thing you give someone if they swallow a poison (yes...I am paranoid and over pack) and sercurity questioned me for bringing in this little bottle of stuff. Of course, on the bottle I had a huge green sticker with the Hawaii phone # for the poison control center...so he believed me that it was just something in case my kids needed it

I have a PTA meeting and DD has Dance. So one of us is going one place and the other is going to the other place. And the last I heard I get to go to the PTA meeting and listen to the Superintendent of Schools talk for an hour.

You don't have to celebrate tonight....do something fun tomorrow DH proposed to me on the day before Valentines, so we usually celebrate on the 13th ....today is my sister's anniversary.

This week is a bust. DD has Brownies tomorrow night and I have a meeting on Thursday night.

Honestly it isn't a big deal.

I wouldn't want to sit there either...didn't you say they take attendance? that sucks.

The hand out signature cards in the beginning that have to be turned in at the end of the night. No CARD - you get a written warning from the school.

If they are mandating that you be there, it should at least be very informative and for the benefit of your child. To have a boring lecture takes away from your time and family time or, they should do door prizes

I agree. And they normally try and do that. Not sure why he is speaking tonight. Although we are trying to get a Fundamental High School started and this next school year will be the first year. Maybe he is going to talk about that.

They did do a really good program about Safety. And we brought the kids with us.

It was full of great information for the children.
