I was starting to get worried about you. How is DD doing?

DD is doing great and DS is fine too...so hopefully this will be it for a while I came to work today and I am swamped...paperwork/phone calls and meetings....I wanted to go to the post office to mail my exchange and didn't make it yet In fact, I was just going to eat really quick and get back to work, but then I started reading here about Kathy's DH and decided to take my lunch hour to catch up...I am so glad he didn't get shot....it is so sad that good people need to risk their lives becuase of stupid crazies out there

On the good side of today, I went to a meeting on the retirement thing and so now I feel comfortable with my decision.

They are significantly changing our retirement plan at work and you have to make a one-time-only decision if you want in or not....It is very confusing and stressful.....I am so glad I went to the meeting to learn about it. There were things in there I didn't think of like death benefits and disability....I want to choose the new plan since I think it will be better for me if I AND my family if something happens to me. I just need to make sure DH is o.k. with it before I do.

yep, retiring in 25 years and, I am in no rush since it means getting older

darn life altering decisions.....you know, before I had kids I didn't put much thought into things....now, I have put more mentally effort the new retirement plan than I ever did about marrying DH

Hello!!! Took a while to get home today, its starting to snow so everyone goes ALOT slower.

Have a little bit before everyone gets home and I have to get dinner ready.

OK-I'm freezing here at the computer-our rain has turned into snow!!! and it's a bit nippy outside now-Oh well it is Jan in Wisconsin!!!I might go warm up a bit on the couch

YUP!!! Its the midwest winter at its finest!!!


The drive home was horrible with the snow/rain. People forget how to drive when its like that. But I'm gonna crawl under the blankets and watch the ****tube tonight!!!!
