Just noticed you are from Wisc. That is an absolutely beautiful state. I had to travel there on business about 15 years ago and have always wanted to go back. I have never had better German food than I had in Milwaukee.

We do have great German food-My Mom is an Immigrant from German so I've always had good german cooking

You are so lucky, I love german food. We had a g exchange student last year and I would love to visit his family.

I speak german too- and my Mom makes great struesel cakes and pastries-Yum Now I'm getting hungry!!!

Plus we have a lot of family still living there-cousins Aunts/Uncles and one Grandma-I've been there 3 times and was married in Denmark(while stationed with the Army)

We have had great weather this winter, too. It has been in the 70's alot. When I was in Milwaukee you were having a heat wave. Of course in OK we get lots of 90 degree weather, but it was really hard on everyone I spoke to there because they were unaccustomed.

I really respect you for working in pediatrics. That must be difficult and really rewarding at the same time.

We hate the winters so much that this will be our last -I grew up here-but my DH family is now living on the NC/GA Border area so we plan on moving down there this summer
