I am guessing I will miss the LTP meet if you guys have it this summer

maybe not but DH's work schedule doesn't normally allow for trips in the summer
except a real quick local weekend trip


I am stillhoping to hook up with Kathy when she comes north and maybe we can work it to meet Kelly too

but once you all decide on a weekend I will see what I can do

I am sooooo bummed. We've been cheated! We've been robbed.

IT'S RAINING!

What happened to all the snow they predictedd. I didn't plan to go to work and the kids didn't plan on going to school. Boy, were they mad when I woke them up this morning. (Probably not half as mad as when my alarm went off and I heard the rain!)

You all plan and i will see what I can do

DH works most weekends and while yes he can use vacation time
they are real stingy about it in the summer cause it is SO BUSY and
August is NUTS around here due to the horse races

I know he already has one weekend spoken for in the summer but that is when we are taking the kids to Hershey park with BIL

other than that I don't know
and i don't want to hold you all up so
plan away and i will do my best

Sounds like your really upset about the prospect of having to stay home -A snow day for 2 days -we don't get snow days too often-unless the snow hits around 4am-and last thru rush hour-then we usually get a 2hr delay and then off they go But this is Wisconsin-we're use to getting lots of the white stuff

We do get a lot of snow days. The snow isn't the problem so much as the mountain roads. The buses just can't run on these mountain roads with the snow.

Yes I think your a little strange to want snow but i probably only feel that way now cause our snowblower is broke and i have to SHovel it

maybe next storm system

is it at least warm enough that with the rain you don't have to worry about
ice??
