Did you see that I decided to post them since we're supposed to get up to a foot of snow in the next 24 hours???

I SAW THAT!! I can't even imagine what that much snow looks like!

I know we probably won't get that much. But we'll get enough to keep the kids home from school tomorrow and Tuesday I bet. And I'll probably have to stay home tomorrow.

WOW! I remember it snowed when I was in middle school (ok it was just really small flurries) and they sent us home, it was my one and only snow day

I remember when we had a snow day when I was in high school. That was my one and only. I went to high school in Florida!!

It did take a little while. But it was something that DH and I had wanted for such a long time that most everything just fell into place because that's what we wanted. I remember when we first moved here I really missed the convenience of running to the store, etc. I would go to town every day. Now I only go to town if I have to work or take A.J. to school. Otherwise I hate to go into town. (Like going into town today to go to the grocery store - I just hated having to leave home and do that!)

It also took some getting used to the weather! We were used to FL weather and then we moved in the end of December and came right into a pretty harsh winter, had to re-learn driving in the snow. (I had to re-learn, DH had to learn. He had never driven in snow!) And we had to learn how to dress for this kind of weather.
