Who did you know planning vacations was my hobby? o.k. here it goes:
1. DH is ready to go now, so he is way on board.....
2. We decided that with DS starting K next July, we would go the begining of May, during DD's birthday.
3. We want to stay around 7 or 8 nights at CSR, loved it there...I have been watching for best rates to come out. (It looks like I would have that much time off work by then)
4. We already have our APs and we decided we don't want to make a bunch of ADRs or do shows, since we just did all we wanted to do last time. I am thinking I will make an ADR for DDes B-day with either Pooh or Minnie, but other than that we will just eat where we want and try to go at opportune times....no commitments.
5. With all of this, we think we can bring the cost of our trip to 1/2 of what we paid for the last one, which should be o.k. since I have 1/2 the time to save up.....(I have to analyse the hunting store separately and add that in )
6. the big thing is the airfare. On our last trip I paid around $1010 for ALL 4 of us, so this time I know I won't be that lucky and I want certain flights...so I am hoping to get a great airfare. If I don't, we won't be going....I can't see paying $1000 per person

so, that is our plan, to save like we are going, watch the airfare daily and hopefully get there....if we don't go, I am happy we had such a nice trip, I know we are fortunate we got to go at all

my mother (who is just now getting back into our lives) called today and said she ordered my ds10 and ds6 ipods for Christmas!

I want an ipod!!

you are all set!! My MIL/FIL want us to go to CA this year and looking at $$ it's going to cost us ~1800 just to fly. MIL says "hey that's not bad!"

We won't be going back to WDW again until next Dec, or maybe we're thinking of trying the cruise in Feb, in which case we won't do WDW in Dec.

Actually, $300 per person isn't too bad....it is just when you factor in 6 people, yikes! the cruise would be Feb 2007?

we want to take it before ds turns 13... I don't want him in the teenage room at 13! He's almost 11 now.

So we take one within the next two years, or we don't go till he's 18 or so, when dd is 16.

oh wait.. then ds 6 now will be 13...no, no.. that won't work...

my adopted mom... my birth mother died when I was 3 months old.
