Oh, no. My friend was just coming over for a little while this afternoon. She was only here for about an hour and a half.

I'm starting some of my Christmas baking!!!

you know a few years ago I bought some springform pans b/c I wanted to make a cheesecake, but then I read the recipe I wanted to make and saw how hard it would be to do it. The pans have never left the box

I've tried twice to make a cheesecake from scratch. One time it cracked, which is common but it cracked all over! And the second time it was just soooo heavy. My friend, Bev, always makes cheesecakes for me whenever I want one.

I've got a great recipe (somewhere) for a coffee cake that you make in a springform pan. It has an apple pie filling in the middle of the coffee cake!
