Don't know if you guys remember I posted last week that our friend (the kids call him "Grandpa") had a tumor in his brain and he was to have surgery. He had surgery yesterday and they have determined it was cancer. They said it may be next week before they're able to tell him what stage, treatment options and prognosis. When I talked to "Nana" this evening she cried when she heard my voice and I ended up talking to her daughter. That's when it really hit me 'cause I've known "Nana" all my life and I can't remember ever hearing or seeing her cry. She didn't even cry at my mom's funeral.

Could use some hugs...and kleenex! And lots of thoughts and prayers for "Grandpa."
