Hey Kathy - How was the band concert?

My ears hurt! :rotfl: 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th grade band, strings, chorus and chimes! Some of them are pretty good but some are, well, uh, you get the picture....downright painful! :rotfl:

DD started playing violin in 5th grade and clarinet in 6th. She continued all through high school and was invited to be part of the honors band in college! Just when she was to the point that it was a pleasure to go to her concerts Andrew started with strings and we had to start all over again! :rotfl:

I am going to have LTP withdrawals on our vacation :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

I want Ashli to take up something. She really loves music a lot.

Remind me I said this when she does and I can't stand to listen to her play. :teeth:

All of our kids enjoy music and although I joke about how painful it is I'm glad that they're involved in it. DD now plays violin, clarinet, alto clarinet, a little on the sax and keyboard, DS13 plays violin, trumpet, keyboard and a little piano, DS11 plays violin, trumpet, keyboard and a little piano, guitar and electric guitar, DS16 just tinkers with music but loves to listen to music and has asked for a guitar for his birthday next month. Oh yeah, and DH is learning bass! Me, ha! I can tinker on the piano.
