It makes me kinda sad sometimes. I can count on people that I have never met to help me see the light of day sometimes.

I think back to July of last year, before the LTP thread. I was sitting in the waiting room of the Hospital waiting for my DD to have surgery on her arm. I look over and see the computers in the corner. I log on to the DIS and start a thread for PD & P for my DD's surgery. The responses poured in. People I didn't know where thinking about my DD at that time. It helped pass the time and make me feel good at a time when I was at rock bottom.

During the hurricane my mom couldn't believe how worried everyone was about us. It made her & me feel soooo much better. She told my grandma "There was a load of people we've never even meet who were more worried about us than some of the family!!"

MeanLaureen who started WPASADI has become very important to me
her and you guys are probably the best friends I have

I mean there are real life people I consider friends but when something happens i immediatly think I gotta tell Kelli that or wait till Tracy hears about this or OMG i gotta talk to Lauri or insert any of the LTP names
When the Dr wanted to put DD on meds my first thought was I gotta check with Kim to see if this is safe

When my DD busted her head last week. I came here looking for Kim.
Or anyone to help me figure out what is the best way to handle it.

By the way it looks really good. She will probably end up with a scar but that is life and we are not perfect. Gives her character.

I was so glad that you were able to check in with us. Everyone here was so worried.
