I did make it just in time for the concert. DH ran late as always. I should have told him I wanted to be out the door by 5 instead of 6 so he would be on time.
The concert was really wonderful. Brett was a few minutes late getting on stage. Nobody minded though. We were all really happy he was there to play for us. He played a lot of his hits from poison, a couple of cover toons, and a new song called Bittersweet. Bittersweet that was a solo piece. He played us a few extra songs past his set allotment and then came out for an encore.
Supposedly he taped the Something to Believe In performance to put on the web for people in the middle east to see. The lighting was great except when they shone it out on the crowd to record us with our hands in the air. I kept saying Bright Lights Bright Lights to DH because it hurt.
For those who have never attended these concerts are held in a space inside the US park next to Jimmy Neutron and across from Shrek 4D. It is standing only. They kind of gate off the area. There is band merchandise for sale. Lots of security. It was a good safe environment.
