one of the families favorites......
two large cans of tomatoes .....then I puree them...
one large sixteen ounce can of paste with one can of water
one pound or so of lean hamburg.......
one large pkg of chicken thighs.....(boiled on stove and skin removed after it is cooked)
plenty of spices.....like oregano.....italian seasoning.....garlic.....and black pepper.....
brown hamburg and add paste and water......keep simmering and add all the tomatoes....pureed.....when it gets going .....add spices ......then drop the chicken thighs in the sauce.....bone and all......and simmer all day ......well anything over three or four hours is a good time......I taste it once in a while to make sure the spices are just right....
I got the thighs on special for 39 cents a pound and got a good pkg....so the name was always C C C.......
