Last night for Osborne Lights, how crazy do you think it will be?

We are going to be at Disney on 1/2 and 1/3
I was thinking it would be great to see the lights on the last night
But I wonder how crazy crowded they will be, based on how crazy they've been so far.
Wonder if it's going to be worth trying to get back there
We did see them during our trip last week

I don't think it will be crazy at all. We've gone two nights this week and we've not experienced any craziness.

Besides, after January 1st, I don't want to hear any more Christmas music. So as much as I love the Osborne lights, I would walk through quickly on those last days. I'm sure some other people must feel that way as well.

Good point. I too am usually over Christmas Music after tomorrow goes by.
I didn't find the crowds on Monday overwhelming

If it hasn't been as crazy this week, it could very well be because the FLA AP blackout is on now. We are going on 1/3 for the last night. It would not surprise me at all if it crazy packed. I am thinking a fair share of people will just stay the whole night.

fl seasonal passes and Cast Members and their passes are both blocked out. right now.
Numbers from only one fb group page that are planning on going to the lights are at 1.6 k and growing...it'll be packed, I'll be there

I think we'll plan to go. I mean, we'll be there so why not, right?
We plan to head to Epcot earlier in the day to ride Soarin' one last time. I fathom massive lines there too

We will be at Epcot 1/2 to do soarin and that night we will be at the lights Hoping it will be enjoyable and not chaotic.

I guess you might as well but it'll be busy. But maybe not as bad as you would think, on the 20th the lights crowds weren't as bad as we thought they'd be. It was nice that my relatives finally got on Soarin' earlier this month before the long refurb soon especially as one is a former pilot

I think it will be busy. Get there early if you need to park! APs are not blocked out. I think many locals will be there.

We are walking over from Boardwalk again. We did that on Monday too. So much easier. Helps it's my favorite resort to stay in

I think it will be crazy, there are several groups planning on going to see them turned off.
But that doesn't mean you shouldn't go.

I will be there! I posted a thread about it a while back and got pretty much the same response. If I had already seen them, I probably wouldn't go but that will be the first day we will be there and the last chance we have to see them.

Yeah, I was tempted to avoid it since we did just see them a couple days ago.
But I sort of want to be there when they turn them off for the last time. Since we are there and right at the Boardwalk, I'm going to go for it. Crowds or not

I've been worried about this too- The only night on our trip we've got to see the lights is the 3rd. I'm concerned it's going to be packed.

On the plus side, we've got the party booked, and in spite of possible cost:value ratios, I'm glad to have it if only to have a nice place to sit and watch the lights and not be shoulder to shoulder with thousands of other people.

I thought the last night was the 4th, am I incorrect? We are planning on being there the 2nd and we have reservations at 50's Prime Time on the 4th.

Not only do I expect it to be packed - I expect the usual advice of going during the 1-hour after park closing will not work. Expect many people to wait for the lights to dim the final time.
the lights have been turning off at 10pm when the park was closing at 11pm and this week will turn off at 11pm when the park closes at midnight, because of the fireworks.
On the last night of the lights, they will turn off at 10pm with the park closing at 11pm.

We are there Jan 1-4. My schedule is EP on 1-1, MK on 1-2, HS on 1-3 and AK on 1-4. My pan was to see the lights for the last time before they turn off. My FP are made and so I guess we're in for the ride. Good or bad.
