Last Movie You See Before You Die

Home movies of my kids and hopefully by then grandkids. (great grands would be nice!)

It is one of my favorites.. I have not seen it forever... May have to watch it this weekend

My youngest son passed away last July, not sure if it was the last movie he watched or not but a few days before he died, we were talking and he told me he had rented "The Muppet Movie" since his wife had never seen it and they were watching it as we spoke. I like to think it was the last movie he watched since it was one of his favorites as a child, I think he knew every word of the dialogue from it. After the funeral I bought the movie have yet to watch it but when I do I know he will be watching it with me wherever he is now.

What a neat post :) I'm sorry that you lost your son.

first off--thank you for doing the job you do! Hospice has been a huge blessing in my family.
My favorite movie of all time is Chocolat (with Johnny Depp). I would love it if that was what my last movie was. or Elf --we quote that movie all the time. :rotfl:
I hope that it is something that my family can look at and say, yup that would be something she would watch :) and would bring a smile to their faces.

Chocolat is one of my all time favorites too!:woohoo:

I think that when you're dead you won't care much what the last movie you saw was.

Some people think that when you're dead, that's it. You're just gone. No part of you exists on any plane. So, you wouldn't be around to care.

Other people think that you do continue to exist. If so, you can watch more movies...and it won't have been your last.

Either way, I don't think we'll care.

Assuming that on my last day of life I'm still able to watch and enjoy movies, I'd like it to be one I haven't seen...and one that I like. Might as well have new experiences as long as I can!
we share a lot of the same ideas.

Heaven Can Wait :)
that answer deserves a nod.

If I knew I was going to die right after the movie? Neverending story. :)
if i knew i was going to die RIGHT AFTER the movie i would be watching it with a bottle of Pomagranate martini's and a stripper.

I'd like to say that the movie wouldn't matter, it would be the who that mattered. However, James and I snuggled on the coach the other night and watched the Informant, and I have to say that wasn't the fondest memory. The last movie I would want to watch would be one where I could hear my family laugh. I am not a laugh out loud type of movie watching person. However, James and Emilie are, sometimes Madi. I would want to watch something where I could hear them laugh.
