Last minute vacation

We are thinking of going around sept 5 for about 5-6 days. We would love to stay at a monorail hotel and are wondering the best place to book a vacation and get a great deal of course. Any advice? Ive read and read but cant seem to find anything for a last minute trip!

Disney's prices are going to be consistant from one travel supplier to another. The only thing you are likely to get a deal on would be airfare.

You can book a Disney trip on your own by just going to the disney.com website or you can get a quote from an online supplier-- Dreams Unlimited is a sponsor here and can help you out. Or you can find a local Travel Agent. But your room and ticket prices will be pretty much the same no matter who you talk to. Disney keep it that way.

And keep in mind that the monorail resorts are some of the most expensive. If you really want a "deal" you may want to consider a Moderate resort.

My advice, as far as a last minute trip in September, would be to remember that you are going during the Free Dining promo (you can't book it at this point, as you had to book by June 22. But a large majority of the people in WDW will be on the Free Dining). You will be very hard-pressed to get any ADRs (avance dining reservations) at this point. If having a table service/sit down meal is not of importance, then I would think that you will have a great trip. As for a room code, I would check the Resort/Codes board here on the Dis and see if there is still any codes out there for September.
