Last minute trip to DL!! Any tips for going this Saturday???

We have been lucky enough to have been to DLR many times. However, we have never been for just one day on a Saturday!!

I would love any tips for this coming Saturday. Getting there early, I'm sure is the first thing we need to do.

Any fun things going on right now??

I’d just say, do California Adventure first (no extra magic hours there so you can be some of the first people on more popular rides, freeing up time to do more) and take full advantage of Fastpass (buy Maxpass if it is in your budget). Stay as long as you can during the day but make sure to be there plenty before the park opens and stay until it closes (take a nap in the middle of the day if you need to).

If you plan on seeing F! without a dining package, make sure to get your FPs early. Reports on these boards have F! FPs running out before noon on most days. Check out Lunar New Year at DCA. Try some of the fun festival foods at the different booths.

I was just at DL for one day, this past Saturday. Crowds were high in the middle of the day but it was still a very doable day. We rode 20 rides but did use maxpass. We didn't wait more than 30 minutes for any of the rides we rode without a fastpass. I second the suggestion about F! FP. We went right after noon and they were already gone. I would suggest getting there as early as you can. Have fun!
